Gold & silver prices edge lower today
KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices in the local market declined slightly on Friday, with gold dropping by Rs 3,000 per tola and silver by Rs 120.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 299,800 per tola, while silver is priced at Rs 5,130 per tola.
On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 302,800 per tola and silver at Rs 5,250 per tola.
A day earlier, on Wednesday, gold stood at Rs 302,700 per tola while silver was priced at Rs 5,220 per tola, indicating a steady downward adjustment over the past two sessions.
In the international market, gold is currently trading at around USD 4,820 per ounce, while silver is priced at approximately USD 75 per ounce, according to international media reports.
