All security arrangements completed for March 5 polls, vote without fear: Home Minister

Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has stated that all security arrangements have been completed for the House of Representatives Elections scheduled for March 5. Informing that all preparations related to election security have been finalised, Minister Aryal urged voters to participate in the voting process without fear.
Addressing a meeting of the Central Security Committee held on Thursday, Minister Aryal clarified that the government is committed to conducting the election only under a well-managed and reliable security arrangement. “All the necessary arrangements have now been completed. With the support, cooperation, and coordination of all concerned agencies, I am confident that the election will be held on the scheduled date,” he said.
During the meeting, the chiefs of all three security agencies and officials from the District Security Committees informed Minister Aryal that security preparations were being finalised and that district-level security strategies were being implemented gradually.
In the meeting held via Zoom, Minister Aryal received updates from members of the Central Security Committee, chief secretaries of all seven provinces (provincial command post chiefs), as well as the chief district officers and officials of the District Security Committees from all 77 districts regarding the implementation of provincial and district-level security strategies and election preparations.
