Kathmandu, April 16

The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the fuel prices effective from 12:00 last midnight. The NOC hiked the fuel prices of diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel, while the price of petrol remains unchanged.

As per the new price list, the price of diesel and kerosene has been increased by Rs 30 per litre and Rs 5 per litre in aviation fuel. With this, the price of diesel and kerosene has been fixed at Rs 237 per litre and aviation fuel at Rs 256 in the domestic market, the NOC mentioned in a press statement.

Despite the latest price adjustment, the NOC stated that it remains in deficit due to the massive price hike in the international market.
