Kathmandu: Lok Bahadur Thapa, UN ECOSOC President, participated in a meaningful exchange with UN Youth Delegates from 21 Member States on April 16. He said that the 21 Member States brought energy, commitment, and valuable experience and perspectives that are essential to the work of the United Nations.

He further stated that young people are not simply beneficiaries of development efforts; they are equal partners and co-creators of solutions, and their leadership and innovation are essential to progress.

The participation in the ECOSOC Youth Forum makes it a meaningful space to contribute to policy discussions, share perspectives, and advance concrete ideas on SDGs implementation.
