Nepal Embassy in Bahrain Marks Second World Meditation Day

Kathmandu: The Embassy of Nepal in Manama, in collaboration with Jeevan Vigyan, Nepal, organized a Special Interaction and Meditation Programme with members of the Nepali community in Bahrain on December 21, marking the Second World Meditation Day.

Welcoming the participants at the Ambassador’s Residence, Ambassador Tirtha Raj Wagle highlighted the importance of World Meditation Day, proclaimed by the United Nations in December 2024, and emphasized Nepal’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.

The programme featured guided sessions on energization, breathing techniques, and Swajagaran meditation, led by Raju Humagain, an instructor from Jeevan Vigyan. An interactive discussion on meditation, yoga, inner health, and holistic wellbeing followed the sessions.

The event was facilitated by Deepraj Joshi, Third Secretary of the Embassy. Representatives of various Nepali community organizations in Bahrain, along with members of the Embassy family and friends, attended the programme, showing keen interest and engagement.
