WALING (Syangja): Two government offices in Syangja operating under the Gandaki Province have merged each other to provide integrated services.

The unified entities are the Social Development Office and the Industry and Tourism Office.

The integrated services have been available from Putalibazar since Dec 16.

Following the merger, the new office has been named the Integrated Service Office, said Office Chief Jeevan Paudel.

He said they are now focused on providing effective and prompt services.

These include the registration and renewal of new enterprises, business-related promotional programmes, market monitoring, infrastructure development in the tourism sector, capacity enhancement of target groups, operation of skill-generating programmes, construction of infrastructure in the education sector, and implementation of infrastructure development programmes in the religious areas.

The integrated government facility is handled by 15 employees.
