TAPLEJUNG: The Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh (NNJS) Taplejung chapter has conducted basic computer training for blind people, aiming to equip them with computer skills.

The basic computer training programme is supported by Phungling Municipality.

Chair of NNJS Taplejung, Narsingh Limbu, said that the training programme is expected to make the blind people economically independent by ensuring their access to technology and its usage.

A total of 10 blind students are attending the computer training.

Limbu said that the training will continue till the first week of Feb 2026.
