Kathmandu: Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma, Nepal’s Ambassador to India, said he was honored to join the Nepali delegation at a recent Global AI Summit.

According to Ambassador Sharma, India highlighted its growing role as a global artificial intelligence hub, with major investments in AI infrastructure and ecosystem development.

The summit gathered more than 20 heads of state, 60 ministers, and over 500 AI leaders and innovators from more than 100 countries, providing a platform for discussions on global cooperation and technological advancement.

Ambassador Sharma met António Guterres, Raimonds Čudars of Latvia, and Sergio Gor of the United States during the summit. According to him, the leaders expressed their deep affection for Nepal and showed interest in strengthening cooperation in technology and development.
