KATHMANDU: A 20-year-old student, Krischal Ojha, is in a critical condition after being seriously injured in a motorcycle accident near Charkose forest area along the Dharan–Biratnagar road.

Ojha, a resident of Biratnagar, was returning after celebrating a friend’s birthday when the accident occurred.

According to reports, he lost control of the motorcycle at high speed, causing the vehicle to crash into a road divider.

He was immediately rushed to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, where he underwent emergency treatment and surgery.

Despite nearly a month of medical care, his condition showed no significant improvement.

He was later referred to Arya Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar for further treatment.

Doctors say he is currently being treated in the ICU, with daily medical expenses of around Rs 25,000.

According to his family, treatment costs have already reached approximately Rs 1.7 million, supported by relatives and friends. However, continued treatment is required, and additional financial assistance is urgently needed.

The family and friends have appealed to the public for support, saying that even small contributions could help save a young life.

They also confirmed that all medical documents and expense records have been properly maintained.
