Kathmandu, February 20

Prime Minister Sushila Karki arrived in Mustang today.

During her visit on Friday, Prime Minister Karki inspected the Himalayan settlements in the district. Her visit comes amid discussions that adverse weather conditions could affect the House of Representatives elections scheduled for Falgun 21 in the Himalayan region.

Prime Minister Karki has been reiterating that the elections will be held nationwide on Falgun 21 as scheduled.

She also interacted with residents of Mustang and received updates from government officials in the district regarding election preparations.

During her visit, Prime Minister Karki also offered prayers at the Muktinath Temple.
