Kathmandu. The deadline to apply for the purchase of units of the Citizens Balanced Plan has been extended.
The units of the scheme were opened on December 19. The unit issuance of this scheme was scheduled to be closed on December 8. However, due to lack of sufficient applications, the application can now be submitted till the banking deadline on January 18, according to the scheme manager Citizens Capital.
The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has allowed the issuance of units worth Rs 10 crore at face value of Rs 10 each. Out of the total 15 percent of the total offered units, 15 percent of the total seed capital will be reserved to Citizens Bank and the general public can apply for the remaining 8.5 crore units.
Applications can be place for minimum 100 units and maximum of 100 units. Interested investors can apply for the shares from ASBA member banks and financial institutions, their branches and CDSC affiliated to the Securities Board of India (SEBON).
