Subodh Foundation UK supports Bhakti Club York, hands over a sound system

York, (United Kingdom), 19 December 2025 – Subodh Foundation UK has handed over a Sound System with Wireless Mics to ISKCON-affiliated Bhakti Club York during a special ceremony held at Heslington, York.
The ceremony was graced by HG Tribhangananda Das, a disciple of Srila Prabhupada, and Ganesh Thapa, leader of Bhakti Centre York. The event marked a significant contribution by Subodh Foundation UK towards strengthening the spiritual and community activities organized by Bhakti Club York.
The donated sound system, valued at over one thousand Pound, is expected to play a crucial role in promoting spiritual life and Krishna consciousness within the local community. It will support important programs such as bhajans, kirtans, lectures, and community gatherings.
HG Tribhangananda Das highlighted the need for a quality sound system and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the generous gift. He acknowledged that the sound system will play a vital role in spreading Krishna consciousness, a movement that is increasingly being observed throughout the UK and worldwide. The sound system will enhance the experience of devotional practices and help in reaching a wider audience, furthering the message of Krishna.
The handover program commenced with a devotional bhajan, followed by the formal Sound System Presentation by the Subodh Foundation.

Speaking on the occasion, Er Subodh Timilsina, Chair of Trustee and Founder of Subodh Foundation UK, praised the activities of Bhakti Club York, expressing how honoured he was to support the club’s initiatives, noting the club’s meaningful contribution to spiritual upliftment and community engagement in the region. He highlighted that it was especially fulfilling to see the sound system being placed in the hands of a dedicated and motivated group, confident that it would significantly enhance the quality and reach of the club’s spiritual programme and further strengthen its service to the community.
He appreciated the foundation’s commitment to community service and cultural enrichment. He also expressed his happiness that the donation was warmly accepted and appreciated.
The evening also featured a spiritual lecture by HG Tribhangananda Das, who emphasized the importance of devotional practices and community unity. This was followed by an uplifting Kirtan Dance, and the event concluded with a Prashadam Feast, bringing together devotees and community members in a spirit of gratitude and fellowship.
Representatives of ISKCON York also delivered messages of appreciation. The event reflected a shared vision between Subodh Foundation UK and ISKCON York to foster spiritual growth, cultural values, and community harmony, reinforcing the role of charitable collaboration in serving society.
