KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress District Committee of Kalikot has recommended three names for the direct election of the House of Representatives scheduled for Falgun 21 (March 5).

The district committee has forwarded the names of Bhupendra Jung Shahi, Amb Bahadur Shahi, and Sita Rawal to the provincial committee. According to Amb Bahadur Shahi, chairman of the district committee, the provincial committee has also forwarded the names to the central leadership.

For the proportional representation category, the committee has recommended Kalibahadur Sahakari, Sushila Shahi Bam, and Manbahadur Nepali.

Additionally, for the National Assembly, Tekraj Shahi and Yashodha Shahi have been recommended.
