KATHMANDU: The Butwal High Court has ordered the release of Rastriya Swatantra Party President and former Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.

An order has been issued to release Lamichhane, who is in custody awaiting trial in the cooperative fraud case.

Information Officer Ram Bahadur Kunwar said that although an order has been issued to release Ravi on bail, there has been no order to release Chhabilal Banjade.
