KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balen Shah is set to hold his first formal meeting with the chief ministers of all seven provinces today, marking a significant step in strengthening federal coordination after assuming office.

The high-level dialogue will take place at 2 PM at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.

According to officials, the meeting will focus on accelerating development and infrastructure projects across the country, ensuring the proper and efficient allocation of resources, and addressing administrative and financial challenges faced by provincial governments.

The discussions are also expected to center on the effective implementation of national priority projects, with an emphasis on enhancing cooperation between federal and provincial governments. Improving public service delivery, promoting good governance, and reviewing the current economic situation will also be key points on the agenda.

The meeting is being viewed as an important move toward strengthening Nepal’s federal system and improving coordination between different levels of government to ensure that development outcomes directly benefit citizens.
