National Life’s Annual General Meeting on January 30, when will the book close?
Kathmandu. National Life Insurance Company (NLIC) has called its 38th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on Monday decided to hold the AGM on January 14. The meeting will begin at 10:30 am at the company’s central office in Lazimpat, Kathmandu.
The Fiscal Year 2081. The meeting will approve 4 percent bonus shares and 8.5 percent cash dividend on the current paid-up capital of the company. The meeting will also approve a cash dividend of 0.66 percent from the tax set aside for the purpose of dividend.
The meeting will endorse a proposal to amend the memorandum of association by increasing the paid-up capital. The meeting will also endorse a proposal to further revise the existing investment provisions of the company.
The meeting shall pass a special resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to comply with the opinions, suggestions or directives received from the regulatory bodies while amending the Regulations and Memorandum of Association.
The meeting approved the annual and auditor’s report of the last fiscal year and the current fiscal year 2082. 83. Approve the proposal relating to the appointment of the auditor and the determination of his/her remuneration.
The company has decided to close the book on January 1 for the purpose of dividend and meeting. This means that only shareholders who have been held before January 17 will be eligible to receive dividends and attend the meeting.
