KATHMANDU: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) delivered a dominant all-round performance to defeat Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by five wickets, bowling them out for just 146 and chasing the target with ease.

Batting first, Lucknow struggled under constant pressure, with only Mitchell Marsh (40) and Ayush Badoni (38) offering resistance as the rest of the lineup failed to settle.

RCB’s bowling attack proved decisive.

Rasikh Salam Dar starred with four wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed three.

Krunal Pandya took two, and Josh Hazlewood added one.

In reply, Virat Kohli anchored the chase with a composed 49.

Captain Rajat Patidar (27) and Jitesh Sharma (23) provided quick runs to guide the side home.

RCB reached the target in just 15.1 overs, sealing a comfortable victory and moving to the top of the Indian Premier League (IPL) standings.
